ROC, eventing saddle in dressage type - Hello, I have this Iberian saddle of the brand ROC, an eventing saddle in dressage type, for sale. This somewhat eye-catching saddle belongs to an older series of the manufacturer and is no longer sold in this form. Due to this and the special colors, it is a rare saddle with the marking E 15-34 (picture 4). This indicates the seat size 15, which corresponds to about 16.5 for classic English saddles. It is fitted with a size 34 Rieser wooden tree with 5 cramps. The saddle changes from three-point girthing to English girthing (Fig. 5).
I had already bought it second-hand and then had it fitted by Stefan Wanek, but unfortunately it no longer fitted after a year, which is why I had to switch to another saddle. Despite its age, it is still in very good condition, has never had any mold and has been well cared for. Nevertheless, there are of course some age-related blemishes, which is why it is so cheap.
There is still a bit of padding material in the pad and I still have a few insert pads, which means that the saddle can be re-padded myself. Stefan has affectionately dubbed the current padding "the part-time pensioner padding", so it's a bit thicker and very flexible.
A leather saddle girth with leg cut-out can be purchased for €50 (picture to follow). Also matching silver stirrups with glittering stones and stirrup leathers (picture 1&7) for 30€.
